Star Trek Next Generation Legacy
Answer from: Majik53
Hi, sorry I just found this. If you are playing it with windows 7 or 8, you need to first sign in as Administrator, select your main game folder (Star Trek Legacy), right click, choose properties, then the security tab, edit your username in the list, and give it full access. When you click ok or apply, it will ask if you want to apply to all subdirectories, so choose yes. You should be able to save files into that folder now. If this doesn't look right, or it doesn't work, try looking at the file's (config.cfg) properties, and make sure the box marked Read Only is unchecked. If it IS checked... then also back out and go to your game folder again, select it, right click, choose properties, and UNcheck read only, it will affect all the files in that folder and subfolders. If you are still having problems, do a web search for 'taking ownership' of folders, that should give you a better idea of the process and how to achieve what you want to do. Good Luck!
